SOS message function
The SOS feature on the MyTag Bluetooth tracker sends via your mobile an emergency message with your location using what 3 words to your emergency contacts. The SOS feature requires a small subscription.
How it works
If you need some help and don’t know how to describe where you are, 3 clicks of the MyTag button sends an SMS message with your location and 3 unique words to your chosen contacts.
Give those words to emergency services and they will know exactly where to go. Ideal for your kids to tell you where to pick them up from.
What is what3words
What3words have divided the world into 3m squares and given each square a unique combination of three words.
What3words addresses are easy to say and share, and most emergency services know exactly what you mean when provided to them. You can also simply click on the app and be guided directly to the location.
Note - The SOS function should not be relied on as a lifesaving feature and requires the App to be active or running in the background.
